Content Description

This collection consists of the research and writing of Reverend Erwin J. Becker on the history of the founding of Santa Rosa and the Carrillo Adobe. In 1950, Becker organized and founded St. Eugene's parish in Santa Rosa, along the Santa Rosa Creek and adjacent to the Carrillo Adobe. The collection includes photographs of the Carrillo Adobe taken by Don Meacham and a manuscript summarizing Becker's research titled, "The Lost Mission" (Assistencia Santa Rosa de Lima).
