Biographical / Historical

Sebastopol skateboarders and supporters proposed to build a skate park in Ragle Ranch Regional Park in the early 2000s. After encountering opposition from park stakeholders, including Sonoma County Regional Parks, a new location was proposed for a vacant site between downtown Sebastopol and Analy High School. In 2008, the Sebastopol Skategarden Park opened and included a skate park and community garden, and located on Laguna Park Way in Sebastopol, California, across from The Barlow shopping district.
