First entry in volume is under "A," "Alcalde Papers 1845-46-47-48 & 49"; second entry is under "B," "Bridge across Petaluma Creek," 1854. Original road petitions beginning with Petition Nos. 3 and 4 of 1854 are in (Storage Files, Board of Supervisors) (593) arranged by township and scattered among various storage cartons. Index shows: No.; Name of road, landowner, bridge, or place where road originated; Year. Listed in the 1980 inventory of the Sonoma County Clerk's office as no. 565.
