One of five untitled volumes listed as no. 554 in the 1980 inventory of the Sonoma County Clerk's office that contain the record of allowances paid to indigents in Sonoma County, March 6, 1901-1909, showing No.; Date; to Whom Made; Allowances; Indigent Fund; Amount; for five supervisorial districts. One volume contains blank forms "Certificate of Allowances." Also titled Allowances--Stanislaus County. Misprinted as "544" in the inventory. Much of book is blank with blank forms for “certificates of allowance” and “allowances.”
